Description: The MCHS Allies in Diversity Club was created to fight hatred, inequality, and bigotry. Our aim is to educate students about social justice, equity, multiculturalism, and diversity. We engage in discussions about problems that need to be addressed as well as brainstorm different solutions to those problems to help effect change in our school and community.

Description: MIP performs on a basketball court sized tarp. The group uses the same drums and percussion that are seen in the marching band, including electronic synthesizer, sampler, lighting effects and sound system. Members pay dues and uniform fees, varying by season. Details for outdoor percussion/fall marching band are available on the MCHS Band blog: http://www.mchsbands.blogspot.com/
The Indoor percussion activity is an extension of the music/fine arts program at the high school. Basic music experience is highly recommended. It does NOT have to be percussion or marching. The program will teach both of these skills to ensemble members. Depending on the show design for the year, Indoor percussion might utilize guitar, bass guitar, and different physical/dance artists.
